Mevaser Zion is a small, vibrant, modern orthodox
community, situated in Tel Mond, a beautiful small town situated between
Ra’anana and Netanya.
Established in 1998 by a group of 20 young families, the
community today has grown to a diverse group of around 65 families,
comprising both native Israelis and new immigrants from many countries
worldwide, with new members joining each year.
Today Mevaser Zion has earned a reputation as a very warm, friendly
& open community and an integral part of the Tel Mond town,
offering a wide range of religious, social, and community services.
Religious services are held during weekdays,
shabbatot & festivals. There is a program of educational activities
such as mid-week study groups; women’s weekly learning & young
cantorial training. A children’s service has also recently started on
Shabbat, run by the teenage members of the community.
Social & cultural activities also play an
important part of Mevaser Zion, with organized activities on festivals,
annual family trips and a weekly kiddush on Shabbat, sponsored by one of
the community members or visitors hosting a simcha/bar mitzvah.
Mevaser Zion is also very active in Tel Mond through community service, with volunteers regularly helping
families in need and ongoing support for religious activities such as
Bnei Akiva, support for religious institutions, and charitable
functions.
